Blind On Black Crime: Stevie Wonder Schools Youth On Black Lives Matter
Music legend Stevie Wonder took part in a North Minneapolis Conference on Peace on Saturday, which focused on ending youth gun violence.
In a video clip from the event, Steve speaks directly to the youth who participated in the conference. He addressed his feeling on youth gun violence by mentioning Black Lives Matter and black on black crime can not coexist.
“It is in your hands to stop all the killing and all the shooting wherever it might be, because you cannot say black lives matter and then kill yourselves.”
Stevie seems like he intended to give a positive message but, given the sensitivity of crossing BLM with the “black on black crime” conversation might actaully get him dragged by what’s left of his follicles.
